God's Girls

The purpose of God's Girls is to meet the needs of girls ages 9-19 who are not yet mothers. This ministry will concentrate its efforts on Biblical study and application, teen pregnancy prevention, personal & spiritual growth and development and ministry outreach activities. God's Girls is a ministry designed to assist in building strong, Christian young women in fear and admonition of the Lord. The vision for the ministry is to minister to young girls who need connection, direction and purpose in their lives. Our purpose connects with the Church's mission because we will help young girls become fully functioning followers of Jesus Christ. We will assist with the maturation of disciples, share Christ with the girls, guide them to come to know Christ, to grow in Christ and to serve Him. We will train, pray, share Christ and equip disciples for the Kingdom of God.
God's Girls will accomplish its purpose by fulfilling the following objectives this coming year:

• Provide opportunities for study, connection, fellowship, in-reach and outreach.
• Provide opportunities for girls to develop their personal and spiritual lives.
• Provide opportunities for parents to become actively engaged with the ministry.
• Provide opportunities for the girls to become exposed to a variety of cultural and spiritual experiences by taking field trips and participating in ministry outreach activities.
• Provide opportunities for girls to receive exposure, guidance and mentorship from Mt. Carmel leaders and community speakers.
• To help reduce teenage pregnancy by educating girls about God's will for their lives and sharing information on developing healthy, Christian, teenage relationships.
