About Us

Mt. Carmel Baptist Church provides a blended worship style, both contemporary and traditional.  Our membership spans from babies to seniors, and our membership believes in the Word of God-- knowing it, sharing it, and reflecting it to all.

We are located on the East side of Gainesville in the historic Duval Community.  Mt. Carmel has been a leading church in the community providing resources and opportunities at various levels to assist community needs. 

Some of the resources the church has provided include the following: computer classes, other educational classes, recreational activities, clothing giveaways, food giveaways, and our T.A. Wright Family Life Center allows many opportunities for community banquets, wedding, and special events.

At Mt. Carmel, we want to share our love, care and and resources to edify the Body of Christ.
